Actor Ben Koldyke slaps a ‘for sale’ sign on his 1920s Santa Monica Craftsman
Actor Ben Koldyke, whose credits include the TV shows “Masters of Sex” and “Mr. Robinson,” has listed his clipped-nose Craftsman home in Santa Monica for sale at $3.895 million, records show. He bought the home in 2009 for $1.45 million.
Built in the 1920s, the blue-hued house sits above the street in the middle of Ocean Park. Brick steps flanked by shrubs approach the front door.
The main level includes a living room with a brick fireplace, a dining area, an updated kitchen and a family room. The landscaped backyard is anchored by a fire pit. The spacious lot also holds a lawn, garden and covered seating area.
The master suite offers a large balcony and built-ins, and above that, a rooftop deck takes in panoramic views of the ocean and mountains.
In all, the home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and 2,276 square feet of living space.
J. Randolph Wright of Bulldog Realtors is the listing agent.
Koldyke, 49, has had recurring roles in the sitcoms “How I Met Your Mother,” “Work It” and “Back in the Game.” More recently he appeared in the television movie “Controversy” and on the show “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
