Comedian Jeff Dunham sells his Mediterranean-style villa in Encino for $4.1 million
At long last, Jeff Dunham has found a buyer for his custom-built home in Encino.
The comedian and ventriloquist originally put the Mediterranean-style estate on the market in 2015 for $5.199 million. And after a few price drops and relists, the home finally sold in December for $4.1 million.
A rotunda entryway with hickory wood floors, arched windows and wrought-iron work sets the tone for the stone-faced villa. Hardwood floors line beamed-ceiling living spaces, which include a living room with a stone fireplace, a formal dining room and a double-island kitchen.
Sliding glass doors open to a stone loggia. Through the pavilion’s arched doorways are a pool, spa and outdoor kitchen.
Upstairs, the master suite sits under vaulted ceilings and features a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, rain-type shower and a balcony that overlooks the backyard. Four additional bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms complete 6,522 square feet of interiors.
The half-acre grounds also hold a two-room guesthouse.
Annalee Chandler and Catherine Ferraro of Ferraro & Associates were the listing agents. Joshua Snyder of Wish Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer.
Dunham, 55, has performed six standup specials during his career. He’s appeared on the “Late Show with David Letterman” and “The Tonight Show,” and his sketch comedy series, “The Jeff Dunham Show,” debuted in 2009.
He bought the property nine years ago for $4.25 million, according to Variety.
