Actor Jonah Hill seeks a buyer for his Midcentury compound in Hollywood Hills

Actor-comedian Jonah Hill of the “Jump Street” movies has listed his home in Hollywood Hills for sale at $2.995 million.

It’s only the second time the Midcentury compound will change hands. The original 1959 house was built for actress Beverly Garland by her husband, Fillmore Crank. Hill bought the property five years ago for $1.865 million.

The main house, designed by architect Richard Dorman, was updated in 2012 by architect Padraic Cassidy. Entered through a Zen-inspired courtyard, the house has an open floor plan with living and dining areas, glass doors and a state-of-the-art screening room.

Including the detached guesthouse there are four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and 3,660 square feet of living space.

The third of an acre includes a saline swimming pool with a spa, a cabana with an entertainment center, a barbecue area and a sports court.

Hill, 31, starred in the 2013 films “The Wolf of Wall Street” and “This Is the End” as well as this year’s crime drama “True Story.” He’ll be in the upcoming “23 Jump Street.”

Garland, who lived at the house until her death in 2008 at 82, had an acting career that spanned more than five decades. Among her most visible roles, she played Fred MacMurray’s second wife on family sitcom “My Three Sons” (1969-72).
