Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue sells house in Calabasas
Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue has sold a house in a gated Calabasas community for $2.409 million.
The stone-clad Mediterranean-inspired house, set on one-third of an acre, centers on a courtyard with a waterfall. Some 4,500 square feet of interior space features an office, a loft, a music room, four bedrooms and five bathrooms.
A swimming pool, spa and barbecue center with fireplace and pizza oven are among outdoor amenities.
Bassist-songwriter Sixx, 55, and drummer Tommy Lee founded Motley Crue in 1981. He formed Brides of Destruction in 2002. The musician has also worked on songs with Alice Cooper and Meat Loaf, among others.
He bought the property for $1.89 million in 2011, public records show.
