Pink sells her classic Spanish-style home in Sherman Oaks
Pink, the three-time Grammy winner who sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” at the Oscars this year, has sold her gated home in Sherman Oaks for $3.218 million.
The Spanish-style house, built in 1946, is full of character and details such as the hand-hewn double-entry doors, a two-story foyer and exposed-beam ceilings. The 4,435-square-foot home has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. A room with mirrored walls was used as a gym.
The nearly three-quarters of an acre of flat property includes mature trees, an infinity pool, lawn and barbecue center. The standout among the exterior amenities is a grotto-style spa cave.
Pink, 34, recently concluded a tour named for her album “The Truth About Love.” Her hit songs include “Get the Party Started,” “Trouble” and “Missundaztood.” She also performed at this year’s Grammy Awards, singing while dangling from the ceiling for an acrobatic number.
She bought the property for $2 million in 2002, public records show.
Louis Woolf of Rodeo Realty was the listing agent.
