Voice coach to the stars Seth Riggs lists his home and studios for sale in Hancock Park

Michael Jackson and Madonna voice coach Seth Riggs and his wife, actress Margareta Svensson, have listed their home in Hancock Park for sale at $3.995 million.

The Italian Revival-style estate includes the rehearsal studios and concert-lecture room where superstars and legendary singers worked with Riggs.

Built in 1927, the main house is entered through a marble-floored foyer with a spiraling staircase. A step-down living room with a fireplace has French doors that open to rose gardens. There are also fireplaces in the great room, the mahogany paneled dining room and the master bedroom.

The concert and theater room features a wet bar.

The nearly half-acre grounds contain a guesthouse, rehearsal studios and a swimming pool with a spa. The 9,350 square feet of living space includes seven bedrooms, four full bathrooms and a powder room.

Riggs, 85, is known for developing a vocal technique focused on making singing as natural as speaking. Stevie Wonder, Barbra Streisand and Josh Groban are among his many clients.
