Denzel Washington, by the numbers
Denzel Washington has still got it. His new action thriller, “The Equalizer,” topped the box office this weekend with an estimated $35 million in the U.S. and Canada. Here’s a quick look at Washington, by the numbers:

52: Number of his IMDB credits for acting, beginning with the 1977 TV movie “Wilma”
20: Benchmark number, in millions of dollars, that all 10 of the actor’s most recent wide releases have surpassed on opening weekend in the U.S. and Canada
266: Worldwide ticket sales, in millions of dollars, for Washington’s 2007 film “American Gangster.” It opened with $43 million in the U.S. and Canada and went on to gross more than $130 million here, making it his biggest domestic hit.
93: Percentage of critics on Rotten Tomatoes who gave a positive review to “Glory,” the actor’s best “fresh” rating
