Amanda Bynes gets 3 years’ probation in suspended-license case
Amanda Bynes pleaded no contest Thursday to driving with a suspended license, settling a case stemming from a September traffic stop that ended with the 27-year-old’s car being impounded right out from under her.
Her license had been suspended earlier that month after a couple of alleged and since-settled hit-and-run incidents — those in the wake of an arrest on suspicion of DUI, which is still pending.
Don’t expect to see a selfie of her from the Burbank courthouse, however. Bynes, who’s hanging out in New York these days, wasn’t on hand, so the plea was entered by her attorney, TMZ reports.
The penalty? Three years’ probation, during which the self-proclaimed retired actress must obey all laws. She was warned not to drive without proper license and insurance and fined $300.
Good thing she’s walking a lot these days.
