MOVIES
“Withnail and I” With the 1986 British cult classic “Withnail and I” screening at Cinefamily and Werner Herzog’s new “Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans” opening this Friday, the theaters will be flush with odes to bad living. Bruce Robinson’s “Withnail and I” is required viewing for those who find hilarity at the bottom of a bottle. With Richard E. Grant turning in a rip-roaring performance as the feisty Withnail, the debauchery here is treated much more wryly than in Abel Ferrara’s original “Bad Lieutenant” or Herzog’s remake. The screening will be followed by an interview with Robinson. Cinefamily, 611 N. Fairfax Ave., L.A. 8 p.m. $12. (323) 655-2510.
