It’s been less than 24 hours since Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici went public as a couple, and it doesn’t seem like the newly engaged pair will be drifting from the spotlight anytime soon.

First, ABC announced early Tuesday morning that Sean would be joining the cast of “Dancing with the Stars,” which starts airing in less than a week. Then -- as part of their nonstop media tour -- Sean and his lovely lady jumped on a call with journalists to discuss their wedding, which will be televised later this year.

Will Chris Harrison officiate? Will Emily Maynard score an invite?

The ratings were up this season. Why do you think viewers responded so positively to you, Sean? Do you think it had to do with your wholesome, family-oriented nature?

Sean: I was really surprised at the ratings, and I’m so glad that America has responded the way it has.… If it’s my wholesome nature and my family values, then I think that’s a great thing. I think we need more of that on TV. I’ve had people come up to me and tell me, “We haven’t watched the show in years, but you’ve brought us back, and now I feel comfortable letting my daughter watch the show.”

Did you ever feel that dating multiple women conflicted with your religious beliefs?

Sean: Kissing multiple people … did feel a bit unnatural, but that’s part of “The Bachelor.” You’re developing multiple relationships simultaneously.… Kissing is just part of showing affection, and it’s romantic. I don’t regret that, and I certainly don’t think anyone else really has had a problem with it either. I feel supported by a lot of people that share the same faith as me, and I think I’ve handled myself well.

What are your religious backgrounds?

Sean: I’m a Christian. That’s how I categorize myself, and that’s obviously a huge part of my life. I go to a non-denominational church, so I believe what the Bible says, basically, to sum it up.

Catherine: I grew up learning about different religions, but I have always been a believer of God. Right now, I’ve been going to a non-denominational church in Bellevue [Washington] and I’m exploring that path.… I’m excited to learn more about Christianity and be a believer, and that’s something that’s really important to our future and our family.

You’ve said you’re not looking for fame, but you just signed up to be on “Dancing with the Stars.” What’s up with that?

Sean: I don’t like the fame aspect of being “The Bachelor” or being on “Dancing with the Stars.” I can’t go out with my buddies in Dallas anymore because I’m left taking pictures the whole night. I don’t want the fame, but when an opportunity like “Dancing with the Stars” comes along, it’s too good to pass up. It’s an incredibly unique challenge.… I wouldn’t have taken it had Catherine not been OK with it. She is fully supporting me.

How will being on the show affect your fledgling relationship?

Sean: I don’t think it’s going to affect it too much, to be honest with you. We have to put in a lot of time learning how to dance -- about five hours or so. But after, I’m free, and we can explore L.A. together and be normal and go on dates and just do the simple things that we’ve been wanting to do for so long.

Catherine: I’m excited to explore the city. I’m going to try to find something for myself so that we can share experiences together.

Why did you decide that you want to have your wedding televised?

Sean: We thought it was only fitting. Our relationship started and it was formed on television, and the world has had the chance to watch it be formed on television. We think it’d be a special thing to have it televised.

Will Chris Harrison be officiating the wedding?

Sean: I doubt Chris will be officiating, only because my dad and grandfather are ordained ministers. There are a lot of ministers in line that might supersede Chris Harrison.

Will Emily Maynard get an invite?

Sean: Probably not. I think the world of Emily and want nothing but good things for her, but I don’t know if it’d be the most appropriate thing to have her at the wedding.

Catherine, will your dad be at the wedding?

Catherine: He will be walking me down the aisle. I love him so much. I said a lot of personal things on the show, and I just want to reiterate the fact that he is a part of my life and I love him so much and I’m excited for him to be part of the wedding.

You guys always describe yourselves as geeks. What’s the nerdiest thing you do together?

Sean: She quotes “Harry Potter” all the time.

Catherine: He’s lying! I never quote “Harry Potter”!
