Jennifer Lopez scores Hero honor at Radio Disney Music Awards
Jennifer Lopez is often characterized as a diva. But for the Boys & Girls Club of America, she’s a hero.
Lopez will receive the second annual Hero Award at the Radio Disney Music Awards in recognition of her work with the Boys & Girls Club of America. Lopez, who is a judge on “American Idol,” is the organization’s national spokesperson.
Two Radio Disney listeners, Sloan Peterson of Los Angeles and Maryah Sullivan of Orlando, Fla., will receive the Radio Disney Music Awards Heroes for Change Award in recognition of their efforts to make a difference in their communities.
