International Antiques Fair heads to Redondo Beach

Quilt show:

The International Quilt Festival makes its West Coast premiere at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. The event will feature more than 1,000 quilts for show and sale, as well as textiles, classes and vendors of fabrics, books and other notions. 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. 300 E. Three homes will be open for touring in conjunction with the Hammer Museum's exhibit, "Between Earth and Heaven: The Architecture of John Lautner." Included in the ticket price is shuttle service to the 1956 Harpel residence (featured earlier this year in the Home section), the 1953 Tyler residence and the 1982 Schwimmer residence.
