‘Clipped’ star Ashley Tisdale sells custom house in Toluca Lake built by her father
Actress-producer Ashley Tisdale of the animated television series “Phineas and Ferb” has sold the Toluca Lake home her father built for her for $2.3 million.
The 2008 Spanish-style house, a project of Michael J. Tisdale Construction, is set behind gates and walls. The courtyard entry is monitored by a camera surveillance system. Yep, that sounds like a touch any dad would want for a high-profile daughter.
Once (safely) inside, a dramatic curved staircase with wrought-iron railing sets the custom-built tone for the 3,406 square feet of interiors. The roomy formal living room features vaulted and beamed ceilings, a fireplace and stone tile floors.
Open plan space incorporates the kitchen, a center island, a dining area and family room with wood-framed French doors and a carved-stone fireplace. Pocket doors connect the family room to a home theater with remote-controlled curtains and lighting.

The master bedroom has an exposed wood ceiling, a fireplace and an oversized closet with built-in island. Glass doors open to a terrace. There are a total of three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The backyard contains a saltwater swimming pool and spa. Entertainment areas include an open-air cabana with a fireplace and an L-shaped built-in barbecue station with a refrigerator and sink.
Tisdale, 30, stars on the current sitcom “Clipped.” She won a Daytime Emmy for her work on the animated program “Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch” (2013-14). Tisdale has co-starred on “Phineas and Ferb” since the series started in 2007.
The site was purchased in 2007 for $1.399 million.
Paul Wylie and Richard Albert of Lamerica L.P. were the listing agents. Andrew Teshinsky of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties represented the buyer.
