From the Archives: Horse rescued during 1967 brush fire

This animal rescue occurred during a Santa Ana wind driven brush fire. The fire, that started in Riverside County, raced over the Santa Ana Mountains into the communities east of Anaheim and Orange. More than 50 homes were destroyed and 35,000 acres burned.
