With his name involved in all the recent trade rumors, Clippers super-sub Jamal Crawford has tried to maintain his cool about it all and just go about doing his job.

Still, Crawford said Saturday before the Clippers played the Golden State Warriors, the trade talks are hard because he has a family to consider in all of this if he is forced to move.

The Clippers and New York Knicks have been in talks since last week about L.A. acquiring forward Carmelo Anthony for Crawford and Austin Rivers, The Times and other media outlets have reported.

An NBA official who was not authorized to speak publicly on the matter said the Knicks and Clippers discussed adding a third team to help facilitate the deal because New York didn’t want to take on the three-year, $42-million salary Crawford signed last summer.

“You’re a pro, but you’re still human,” Crawford said. “So at the end of the day, now especially, when something is bothering you, it affects your family as well. So it’s not just me. That part bothers me more than anything.”

Crawford is married and has four kids.

“You just got to roll with the punches,” Crawford said. “That’s all I can do.”

Luc Mbah a Moute is concerned about President Trump’s executive order

Clippers forward Luc Mbah a Moute is from Cameroon, a country in central Africa, and he has his own concerns about the new executive order President Trump signed Friday.

It suspends all refugee entries for 120 days, blocks Syrian refugees and bars for 90 days the entry of citizens from Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Sudan, Libya and Somalia.

“If I was in a position where people from my country, my family, friends or whatever, were prevented from coming to the United States, I would be affected by it for sure,” Mbah a Moute said. “I don’t know the exact thought that goes into preventing one country for another from coming to the US or not. But I guess the president was like that’s something he needs to do for the betterment of the country. So at that point, I would have no choice but to adjust.”

Golden State Coach Steve Kerr, who has been an outspoken critic of Trump, expressed his displeasure with the president.

“I’ll just say that what’s happening is really scary and disconcerting,” Kerr said.
