The Ducks’ goaltending pair, as the team envisioned it in the offseason, is back.

No. 2 goaltender Ryan Miller was activated off injured reserve Friday and suited up for the Ducks’ contest against the Winnipeg Jets. With John Gibson in goal for the matinee, Miller figures to start Saturday against the Kings.

In corresponding moves, Reto Berra, who served as Gibson’s backup in Miller’s stead, was optioned to San Diego. So, too, was defenseman Jaycob Megna.

Miller, 37, hasn’t appeared in a game since Nov. 9 when he defeated his former team, the Vancouver Canucks.

He suffered a lower-body injury during the contest and didn’t finish the game.

This was his second stint on the injured list. He started the season there after injuring his left wrist during the preseason.

But when he has been healthy, he’s been stellar this season.

In four games (three starts), Miller owns a .943 save percentage and a 1.88 goals-against-average.

Now, he just needs to stay healthy.
