Derrick White scored 17 of his 23 points in the second half Saturday night, keying Colorado’s 74-65 upset of No. 10 Oregon that snapped the Ducks’ 17-game winning streak.

Xavier Johnson added 13 points as the Buffaloes (12-10, 2-7 Pac-12) kept the Ducks winless in seven trips all-time to Boulder.

Payton Pritchard’s 19 points led the Ducks (19-3, 8-1), who lost for the first time since Nov. 21 against Georgetown.

White had a pair of three-pointers early in the second half that put the Buffaloes ahead, 45-39, as Colorado’s stifling defense kept the Ducks out of rhythm at the other end of the court. White also had a three-pointer, a three-point play and two free throws in an 11-1 run that gave Colorado a 64-52 lead.

The Buffs are just the third team to top 70 points against Oregon this season.

at Utah 86, Oregon State 78: Kyle Kuzma had 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Utes (15-6, 6-3), who held off a late rally by the Beavers (4-18, 0-9).

David Collette had 13 points and Parker Van Dyke and JoJo Zamora added 11 apiece for Utah, which led by as many as 28 points before subbing in seldom-used reserves midway through the second half.

Stephen Thompson Jr. had a career-high 30 points and JaQuori McLaughin scored 22 to lead a furious comeback that got Oregon State to within six points in the final minute. The Utes’ starters returned but four points by Thompson pulled the Beavers to within 81-74 before Utah finally restored order.
