USC’s Zach Banner shows he has a future in broadcasting [Video]
USC offensive lineman is comfortable, confident
Whenever Zach Banner’s days as a football player end, look for him to become a broadcaster. The USC senior offensive lineman is interested in joining the profession and knows how to talk with the best.
His expertise, confidence and intelligence were on display Thursday during the Pac-12 media day.
He interned with Fox Sports this year. He’s a 6-foot-9, 360-pound senior from Tacoma, Wash. He’s had five line coaches in five years. He was an excellent spokesman for USC in front of the media.
“My big focus is on us working hard and shutting our mouths and letting Coach [Clay] Helton talk for us or letting leaders like me represent the team in what we need to say,” he said.
