Earthquake: 2.6 quake strikes near San Fernando
A shallow magnitude 2.6 earthquake was reported Tuesday morning two miles from San Fernando, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 4:57 a.m. PDT at a depth of 0.6 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was seven miles from Burbank and eight miles from Universal City.
In the last 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
