Earthquake: 3.2 quake strikes near Mammoth Lakes

A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Monday morning 10 miles from Mammoth Lakes, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 1:02 a.m. PDT at a depth of 4.3 miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was 73 miles from Clovis, 74 miles from Sanger and 77 miles from Reedley.

In the last 10 days, there have been four earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
