Earthquake: 3.5 quake strikes near Point Arena
A shallow magnitude 3.5 earthquake was reported Monday morning one mile from Point Arena, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 11:24 a.m. PDT at a depth of 3.7 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 29 miles from Ukiah, 46 miles from Healdsburg, and 50 miles from Windsor.
In the last 10 days, there have been two earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
