RV fire spreads to home, parked car in South L.A.
A blaze ripped through a recreational vehicle behind a South Los Angeles home Wednesday, and quickly spread to an adjacent home and a car parked nearby.
Firefighters arriving in the 400 block of East 25th Street in Exposition Park found the RV fully engulfed in flames. Aerial television news footage showed piles of debris near the RV also catching fire, which then spread to the single-story home.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Jaime Moore said there were “a lot of obstructions back there, a lot of heavy storage.”
The fire was knocked down in about 20 minutes shortly after 9:30 a.m. There were no immediate reports of injuries, according to the Fire Department.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
