Obama lived here: Pasadena puts a plaque on the onetime Occidental College student’s apartment building
The city of Pasadena has held a ceremony to commemorate a residence where Barack Obama lived during his sophomore year at Occidental College in Eagle Rock.
More than 200 people gathered Saturday morning for the dedication of a plaque outside the small apartment building on Glenarm Street, KPCC reports.
The plaque notes that the future 44th president of the United States lived at the address in 1980 to 1981 but does not specify the apartment number to maintain privacy of tenants.
