Relatives of Missing Asked to Bring Data
From a Times Staff Writer
Los Angeles-area residents with relatives missing in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast area are asked to bring photographs, names, addresses and phone numbers to the Lucy Florence Coffeehouse, 4305 Degnan Blvd. in Leimert Park, so the information can be passed on to search-and-rescue teams.
Representatives from the Red Cross and Coast Guard are expected to be at the coffee shop, starting at noon today.
Officials say thousands in the afflicted areas have yet to be accounted for.
