Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Thursday set April 11 for the election to fill the unexpired term of Rep. Randy “Duke” Cunningham, a Rancho Santa Fe Republican, who resigned after pleading guilty to bribery and tax evasion.

If no candidate wins a majority in the primary, the top vote-getters in each party will face off June 6, the date of a statewide primary.
