Update: Coach Terry Murray chatted with Anze Kopitar, who has no goals in his last 12 games. “We’re a team that relied on him and looked to him in the early part and he came through for us,” Murray said. “Inevitably . . . when there’s a high level of performance, there’s going to be a cycle where you start to drop off a bit. I’m hoping it starts to get back on the climb again real soon.” Defenseman Rob Scuderi might return after missing nine games because of a lower-body injury but Murray wouldn’t say whose place he would take. The Flames have won five of their last six games. Jarome Iginla had a hat trick against the Kings in a 5-2 victory Nov. 21 at Staples Center. The Kings recalled forward Oscar Moller from Manchester of the American Hockey League and he’s expected to play tonight.
