USC announces spring football practice schedule
USC announced Monday that spring practice will begin on March 8 and will conclude April 16 with a game at the Coliseum.
The Trojans finished 8-6 in 2015. They were 3-2 before coach Steve Sarkisian was fired, and finished 5-4 under Clay Helton, who was named the permanent coach before a loss to Stanford in the Pac-12 Conference championship game.
The Trojans will work out three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. They will practice for one week before taking a week off for spring break.
Weekday practices are scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m., Saturdays at 10 a.m.
Seven players in the 2016 recruiting class have enrolled in spring semester courses and are expected to participate in workouts: quarterback Matt Fink, offensive lineman Nathan Smith, receivers Josh Imatorbhebhe and Michael Pittman Jr., defensive linemen Oluwole Betiku and Liam Jimmons and defensive back C.J. Pollard.
Practices are open to the public.
USC’s Pro Day is scheduled for March 23.
The spring game is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
