Deal: How to get 25% off wine, chocolate tastings at Temecula casino
Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif., next month will hold two tasting events: one featuring chocolate, the other wines. Any adult who has or applies for a casino club card will receive 25% off ticket prices.
The deal: If you have a Pechanga Club Card, you’ll receive the discount for individual events or a combination ticket. You have to be 21 or older to apply for a free club card and to attend the events. I am told these events sell out each year.
The Chocolate Decadence evening from 7 to 10 p.m. Feb. 27 rolls out lots of sweets and desserts paired with wines. Full-price tickets cost $50 ($37.50 for card holders).
The Pechanga Wine Festival from 1 to 5 p.m. Feb. 28 will feature wines from Temecula Valley, Central California, Napa-Sonoma and the Pacific Northwest, as well as international wines, and little bites made by the resort’s chefs. Full-price tickets cost $65 ($48.50 for card holders).
Combination tickets for both cost $100, discounted to $75 for card holders.
When: The tastings take place Feb. 27 and 28.
Details: You have to appear in person at the casino to apply for and receive a card. If you want the discount, call ahead to make sure tickets haven’t sold out.
Proceeds from the events support the Inland Valley Habitat for Humanity’s program, which helps seniors make repairs to their homes.
