Miley Cyrus breaks in Heart of Omnia while Ice Cube riles up fans at Surrender
Reporting from Las Vegas — Debate among yourselves. Who got the bigger rise out of fans last weekend in Las Vegas — Miley Cyrus or Ice Cube?
The “Wrecking Ball” singer Cyrus started her Saturday by dining at Hakkasan at the MGM Grand with friends.
Then she was off to the new Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace, where hosting duties called on her to hang at the venue’s ultra-lounge, Heart of Omnia. Questlove was on hand to spin the tunes.
A press statement about the night said that “thousands” of fans were calling her name.
Over at Surrender Nightclub at Encore Las Vegas, it was a Friday night with hip-hop icon Ice Cube, who arrived with an entourage of 10 friends and sat in a private bungalow.
Aside from hanging out on the pool deck that flanks the club and taking photos with fans in the club’s gaming pavilion, Ice Cube sang 11 songs, including “Friday,” “You Can Do It,” “We Be Clubbin’,” “Check Yo Self,” and “Good Day.”
The press statement said, “The crowd reaction was insane.”
