‘90s alt rockers Third Eye Blind and Dashboard Confessional head to Las Vegas
Reporting from Las Vegas — Two of alternative rock’s defining music artists from the ’90s, Third Eye Blind and Dashboard Confessional, team up for a 38-date summer circuit through the United States and Canada. The co-headlining tour makes a stop at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday, July 11.
Rock band Third Eye Blind’s “Semi-Charmed Life,” “Jumper,” and “How’s It Going to Be,” all reached the Top 10 of the US Billboard Hot 100, and “Never Let You Go” reached the Top 20. Third Eye Blind has sold around 12 million records worldwide during the group’s 22-year career.
Emo favorite Dashboard Confessional got its name from the song “The Sharp Hint of New Tears” from the debut album The Swiss Army Romance. The band’s music video for “Screaming Infidelities” won the MTV2 award at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2002.
