LA Times Today: Final orange grove in the San Fernando Valley is likely to give way to luxury homes

For most of the first half of the 20^th century, farms and orchards covered big swaths of L.A. County. It was the top agricultural county in the nation, and citrus played a key role in the branding and selling of Southern California. Now, the San Fernando Valley may be seeing the demise of it’s very last orange grove.
