Cool girls the world over know that Isabel Marant is where it’s at. And if you believe this season’s runway collection, the Native American/Southwestern look is coming back in a big way. Now, we’re not talking blanket coats and silver belt buckles. This is sexy stuff -- barely legal mini-dresses and short-shorts with Navajo-like striped and step motifs. And fringe! Lots of it, especially on those hot, hot over-the-knee boots. (Cher all the way.)

And when a girl wants to cover up (this is fall, after all), she can opt for a patchwork denim button-down shirt and skinny jeans, a luscious popcorn-knit poncho, a cream, red and black diamond pattern sweater with fringed, pulled threads, or an oversized sweatshirt in a feather print.
