In our latest webcam chat, The Envelope’s forum moderators, David ‘Guru’ Schnelwar (at left below) and Darrin ‘DoubleD’ Dortch, and I dish who will win the top Grammy Award for best song, bestowed to the songwriter. The recording artist wins the similar-sounding award for best record. We disagree strongly on both prizes. Schnelwar and Dortch believe both will go to Lady Antebellum‘s ‘Need You Now.’ I say they’ll go to Eminem‘s duet with Rihanna ‘Love the Way You Lie.’ Read our analysis of the race for best song here. We agree that Eminem will win best album for ‘Recovery’ — watch our discussion here.
