‘Clybourne Park’ actors cheer news they’re going to Broadway

We’re not sure whether letting out a big cheer in unison is part of the pre-curtain warm-up ritual for the cast of ‘Clybourne Park,’ the Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Bruce Norris that’s now receiving a critically lauded production at the Mark Taper Forum.
But that’s what the seven actors did Thursday night when they learned that they’d be heading to Broadway when the Taper run ends, instead of facing the prospect of having to audition for other roles in other shows. The production’s transfer to Broadway had been jeopardized by a possibly unprecedented show-biz tiff between Norris and a key producer, Scott Rudin.
