Have you ever seen root vegetables with such personality? Radishes looking so happy? Celeryroot that seems almost pensive? These are the work of contemporary botanical artist Sally Jacobs, who has a show starting this week at TAG Gallery in Santa Monica’s Bergamot Station, says she gets her inspiration from Los Angeles’ farmers markets. I don’t know about you, but if I saw vegetables looking like that, I’d be more likely to adopt them than roast them.
