The Dodgers plan to activate outfielder Andre Ethier on Monday, although they did not demote a position player after Sunday’s game. They did flip pitchers, though, returning left-hander Scott Elbert to triple-A Albuquerque and recalling right-hander Travis Schlichting.
Elbert made one appearance, in which he faced six batters and gave up three walks and a hit. Schlichting, 25, who pitched in two games for the Dodgers last season, has a 2-0 record and 4.02 ERA in 16 games at Albuquerque.
