The entire archives of Playboy magazine, from 1953 to 2010, are now available on single pocket-sized hard drive. Our tech blog reports:
The USB hard drive sells for about $300 and has more than 650 issues loaded on the device. The hard drive also has 200 GB worth of free space for those looking to save other files alongside the digital archive.
If you want to see how all those bunnies got their curves, Jezebel found lots of photo editors’ notes among the Playboy items offered in a new Christie’s auction (see the post ‘How Your Playboy Centerfold Sausage Is Made’).
Why release the digital archives now? Well, Playboy certainly wasn’t going to try it when they would have been saved to floppy disk.
