The Deal: Tufenkian carpets 45% to 75% off

Tufenkian’s West Hollywood showroom is discounting samples, recently discontinued lines and one-of-a kind artisan carpets by 45% to 75% at an annual sale running through Sept 20.

The eclectic inventory will include designer rugs by Barbara Barry, Clodagh, Mark Pollack, Kevin Walz and Vicente Wolf as well as Tufenkian’s Core Tibetan and Armenian collections. Sizes range from 2-by-3-foot area rugs to larger 10-by-14-foot carpets that could fill a family room. To get an idea of pricing, 4-by-6-foot rugs that normally retail for $1,575 to $3,975 will be on sale for $430 to $2,226; 9-by-12-foot rugs that regularly sell for $6,600 to $16,575 will be discounted to $1,804 to $9,282.
