Suspect sought in stabbing death of a man in Bellflower

Sheriff’s detectives were searching early Sunday for a suspect in the stabbing death of a man in Bellflower, authorities said.

The incident was reported about 12:30 a.m. in the 14000 block of McNab Avenue, said Sgt. Edmundo Hummel of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.

The identity of the victim, described only as an adult male, was not immediately available.

No arrests have been made in the case, and the investigation is ongoing, Hummel said.
