Man driving 100 mph dies after ramming loading dock, police say

A man driving 100 mph died after his vehicle plowed into a concrete loading dock at a grocery distribution center in Riverside, police said Tuesday night.
The driver of the 2011 Dodge Avenger was speeding along Eastridge Avenue when he drove past a guard shack and plowed into the dock at the Ralphs/Food 4 Less center about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Riverside police said.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name and age were not released.
The accident was under investigation. No other details were immediately available.
