Tara Reid calls off wedding to entrepreneur Michael Axtmann

Tara Reid won’t be walking down the aisle with Internet entrepreneur Michael Axtmann, according to a statement released Wednesday.

Axtmann proposed in January amid approving diners at the Little Door restaurant in L.A.’s Beverly Grove neighborhood. The ‘American Pie’ actress and former Playboy model had been dating the German Internet entrepreneur since June 2009 -- that following a stint as a single lady after dumping beau Julien Jarmoune, a French fashion exec, during her time in rehab.

Reid set off some speculation about her wedding plans recently when she changed her Facebook status to ‘single,’ Gossip Cop reports.

Kudos to Tara for not taking the easy road -- and for possibly heading off a future blog post about her divorce.
