We’d wager that Guy Ritchie is missing his buff ex-wife Madonna at the moment -- he needed all the muscle power he could get Monday morning when his English country home was invaded.
A 29-year-old male intruder was apprehended by Ritchie’s staff, CNN reports, while the director was in a different part of his home.
Ritchie’s handlers confronted the young suspect in the estate, near Salisbury, Wiltshire, England, and promptly turned him over to police. He was arrested but not charged, pending further investigation.
Ritchie’s children with Madge, Rocco and David Banda, were not present at the time of the intrusion, according to the report.
The director is busy prepping the sequel to last year’s hit “Sherlock Holmes,” starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, which is slated for a holiday 2011 release.
