Who’s Demi Lovato‘s role model? That’d be one Kelly Clarkson, a person who ‘has stayed out of trouble; you don’t really read about her in the tabloids, yet she has an incredible music career,’ Lovato said Wednesday on ‘Fox & Friends.’
‘I look up to her, and she’s a really sweet girl too,’ Lovato said.
Wait, she’s crafting a career in the footsteps of a person who doesn’t get into trouble? Demi, are you trying to put the Ministry of Gossip out of business?
But wait -- perhaps, without getting arrested or taking her clothes off or something, she can bring a bit of online controversy. Turns out Bill O’Reilly, he of the recent Jennifer Aniston kerfuffle, is ...
... a Lovato fan, with plans to praise her on his next show for her anti-bullying efforts (check out an anti-bullying video below). ‘When I was younger, I went through bullying,’ she said. ‘It’s a topic that’s very sensitive to me that I can relate to a lot. And there are so many kids nowadays, I’m sure you’ve seen it all over the news; you hear about as young as 9-year-olds taking their own lives from what they deal with at school.’
The F&F team also gave Demi a slice of early birthday cake -- she turns 18 on Friday. Her ‘Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam’ airs Sept. 3 on the Disney Channel.
