Nick Cannon has ‘good prognosis,’ may be home soon, Mariah says

Nick Cannon is almost ready to take on the world again, according to wife Mariah Carey, who posted a happier picture of her hubby in the hospital than the world saw a couple of days back.
‘Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he’ll be discharged within 2 days,’ Carey said on Twitter after thanking fans for their ‘love & concern.’
‘As always he’s laughing and in good spirits.’
Cannon was hospitalized in Aspen, Colo., on Tuesday with what Carey called ‘mild kidney failure’ and one doctor speculated was really a version of acute kidney failure, which can be a ‘silent’ disease until a person lands in the hospital in pain.
In addition to severe pain, Dr. Madeleine Pahl, told L.A. Now, ‘Almost every organ in your body, every system is affected. So you are retaining fluid and you might swell.’ (Pahl is chief of nephrology at UC Irvine Medical Center and a specialist in kidney disorders.)
Cannon was moved to an L.A. hospital Wednesday and by Thursday was ‘getting back to business,’ he tweeted, posting a picture of himself getting a haircut in his hospital room. On Friday, a couple of hours after Carey said her hubby was stable and laughing, Cannon tweeted that he’d ‘Just left the operating table and I was awake during the whole procedure. #OUCH’; messages to his rep to confirm whether a procedure had actually occurred were not immediately returned.
Cannon, Carey and their twins, Monroe and Moroccan, had been celebrating the holidays in Aspen when he fell ill.
