Here’s the latest look from PhilCam. Blogger Philip Hersh, who is sending daily photographs of the Olympic Green, reports that it was ‘misty’ at 6:50 p.m. on Thursday in Beijing.

Contrast this photo with the scene on Tuesday, when the Bird’s Nest was clearly visible.

The Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau website has relevant air pollution data. The Chaoyan District is home to the Olympic Green, where much of the Olympic action will occur. Rowing will be contested in the Renhe Town station in the Shunyi District.
