Ole Einar Bjoerndalen anchored Norway to victory in the men’s 4x7.5-kilometer biathlon relay, the sixth gold medal for the most decorated biathlete in history.
The victory gave the 36-year-old Bjoerndalen his 11th career medal, moving him to within one of the record held by compatriot and cross-country skier Bjorn Daehlie, who won eight golds and four silvers at the 1992, 1994 and 1998 Olympics.
Norway finished in 1 hour, 21 minutes, 38.1 seconds for the gold.
The silver went to Austria in 1:22:16.7; Russia won the bronze in 1:22:16.9.
The U.S. finished 13th in 1:37:58.3.
