A new poll shows a tight race for U.S. Senate with incumbent Barbara Boxer clinging to a 3-percentage-point lead over her Republican rival, Carly Fiorina.
Among registered voters, Boxer holds a 47%-44% lead over her Republican rival, the Field Poll survey found.
Boxer received a favorable job rating from 42% of likely voters, while 48% of those surveyed said they disapproved of the job Boxer was doing as senator.
