Charlie Sheen says his life with ‘the goddesses’ makes Hugh Hefner look like ‘an amateur.’
On Tuesday’s ‘Good Morning America,’ during an interview conducted from the Beverly Hills home he shares with his twin sons, his soon-to-be ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, and his two girlfriends, graphic designer Natalie Kenly and porn star Rachel Oberlin, the star told Andrea Canning that he and his two young blond friends ‘form a wedge.’
And just in case the physics of that situation wasn’t clear, Sheen laid it out: ‘Together, it’s like, it’s on. Sorry, Middle America. Yeah, I said it.’
Oberlin further elaborated. ‘Natty and Charlie have their own special connection,’ she said. ‘I have my own connection with Charlie, and then Natty and I also have our own relationship.’
The arrangement, Sheen said, allows him to avoid ‘all the small talk and nonsense’ by ‘paying for something that eliminates that.’
Is this a ‘Big Love’ situation? ‘Maybe the three of us will get married. I don’t know,’ Sheen joked. ‘I’m gonna say this. It’s a polygamy story. All my guy friends are gonna like throw tomatoes at me. It’s like an organic union of the hearts.’
The father of five children, Sheen said he wasn’t worried about his kids being negatively affected by his unique living situation or his recent struggles with drug abuse. ‘I can say, ‘Hey kids, your dad’s a rock star,’ ‘ he said. ‘ ‘Look at his experiences. Look at what he survived.’ Bang. There are some of your lessons.’
In his ever-more-ambitious press tour, which is now running without Sheen’s longtime publicist, the actor also invited his lady entourage onto ‘The Today Show’ on Tuesday morning. (You can watch some of it here.) If this happily wedged threesome and his other recent life choices made some fans uncomfortable, Sheen didn’t seem to mind. ‘That’s how I roll,’ he said. ‘And if it’s too gnarly for people, then buh-bye.’
ABC will air more of its interview with Sheen on Tuesday night in a one-hour edition of ‘20/20.’
