Nature: The new episode “Salmon: Running the Gauntlet” documents the efforts of biologists and engineers to save Pacific salmon populations (7 p.m. KOCE).
American Idol: In this new episode each of the five finalists perform a current song and one from the 1960s (8 p.m. Fox).
Secrets of the Dead: The new episode “China’s Terracotta Warriors” reveals that the Chinese may have had used an assembly line to produce 8,000 lavishly painted warrior figures for an emperor’s extravagant tomb (8 p.m. KOCE).
Cougar Town: Jules (Courteney Cox) tries to stop interfering in Travis’ (Dan Byrd) life in this new episode (9:30 p.m. ABC).
Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior: Cooper (Forest Whitaker) is summoned to testify when a death row inmate petitions for a mistrial based on testimony that FBI Director Jack Fickler (Richard Schiff) gave at her trial. Guest stars Eric Roberts and Giancarlo Esposito join series regular Janeane Garofalo in this new episode (10 p.m. CBS).
Spouse vs. House: A wife’s dream of a family home is threatened by her husband in the premiere of this new unscripted series (10 p.m. TLC).
