Goaltender Erik Ersberg, whose first start this season was an outstanding performance in the Kings’ 1-0 overtime loss to the Ducks on Tuesday, will start again Thursday night when the Kings face the Florida Panthers at Staples Center.
Ersberg stopped 26 shots in Tuesday’s game, allowing only a screen shot by Chris Pronger four seconds after a Ducks power play had expired.
He had been Jason LaBarbera’s backup in the Kings’ first 10 games.
